Our Design Process & Pricing: How We Work Together
Hourly Consultation – Remote
If you need help navigating the design process, discussing products, colours, or layout, I offer an hourly consultation via phone or Zoom. The cost is £50.00 per hour, with 50% required upfront and the remaining balance due, plus any time exceeding the estimated duration (billed per 30 minutes).
Hourly Consultation – In person
For face-to-face meetings at your property or if you would like me to accompany you to meetings with kitchen and bathroom suppliers or to communicate your ideas with tradespeople, please get in touch. This service includes the hourly consultation cost of £50.00 per hour, plus additional charges based on the meeting location. These will be booked appointments, with 50% required upfront and the remaining balance due, plus any extra time (billed per 30 minutes).
Design Package
You will need to provide any architects’ drawings (or your own measurements) and images that help me understand your style and vision for your space. I will also need to know your timescales and budget. After a phone or Zoom call to discuss your project, I will create your design pack.
Step 1:
Mood board of products, colours, textures.
Step 2:
– Plan view layout with items to scale.
– Elevations.
– Drawings for kitchen and bathroom suppliers/manufacturers and cabinet makers (adaptations may be needed based on the supplier/manufacturer).
Step 3:
Shopping list of products.
Please note that availability and prices may change, and Grapefruit is not responsible for any items no longer available or price increases. However, I will work with you to find alternatives. Items may be available at better prices through different outlets, and the shopping list is only a recommendation. Clients can choose and source items from other outlets.
The design package is £500.00 per room, with a reduced price for partial projects. Full payment is required upfront.
